As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the Operations Coordinators and coordinate daily pick up and delivery of parcels. Your goal is to make the end consumer smile by ensuring their parcels are delivered on time and with quality.  You will work closely with the Swyft Marketplace and Merchant Success Team, and its vendors to deliver a stellar delivery experience. 

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the entire delivery operations team in Swyft’s current and future markets, including day to day troubleshooting and iterating new workstreams
• Execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance
• Create exceptional delivery experiences for customers and drivers by building Ops processes for onboarding, communication, and troubleshooting
• Manage key daily metrics such as on-time delivery, claim rate, and cost per parcel by evaluating the current state and implement improvement processes.  
• Dive deep into daily tasks to streamline overall productivity and minimize operational risks. 
• Implement creative solutions to support the GMV growth for Swyft.
• Leverage reporting and analytics to create plans or new workstreams to improve operational efficiency.
• Build and train the team to be exceptional

About You

• 5+ years of operations experience in logistics, supply chain or last-mile delivery that combines day-to-day execution with strategic planning and project management.
• 3+ years of experience building and managing teams in operations heavy technology businesses. 
• Proven experience in creating and implementing growth plans, and holding others accountable. 
• Extreme attention to detail, and a strong understanding of how to leverage data and running an operation that is guided by metrics.
• You have a builder’s mentality for tools, processes, and people.
• You have entrepreneurial DNA - you're excited to build a business from the ground up, are comfortable making decisions in the face of ambiguity, and aren't discouraged by the inevitable challenges that will arise along the way
