JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking creative and dedicated professional to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance.

SAIC's Network Administrator will provide network, software, and system support. The Network Administrator will monitor computer networks and systems and respond to hardware and software issues utilizing various tools along the way. The Network Administrator will document any findings and coordinate with engineers as needed.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in help desk support or administration
  • Working with personal computers and network/telecommunications architecture and equipment
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and personal computer software application packages and development products
  • Performing troubleshooting on both software and hardware issues and coordinating repairs
  • Reading and interpreting technical manuals
  • Writing and maintaining records and writing reports
  • Knowledge of communications protocols and standards
  • Comfortable working with non-technical customers to help solve technical problems

Desired:

• Knowledge in Network Administration, focusing on operational/mission-specific networks
