What you will be doing:

• Work closely with content distribution, producers, and post production team to ensure smooth content and asset delivery process
• Manage digital library and metadata in order to ensure proper ingestion and storage of RAW materials
• Provide constructive notes and feedback for producers and editors in order to lock programming
• Collaborate with various departments (ex: IT, post production, executives, marketing, producers, etc.) to communicate department needs
• Assist in the creation and distribution of Content Media training materials
• Identify and pursue implementation of departmental process improvements
• Investigate faults in departmental back ends (servers, storage issues, etc.)
• Responsible for assisting in researching and helping implement new technologies that streamline legacy platforms and processes
• Establish and implement archival policies
• Monitor transcode workflows
• Interface with hardware/software support or IT and escalate issues
• Work with IT/Networking regularly to make sure content delivery network is running optimally
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

What you bring to the table:

• BA or BS Degree, Computer Science a plus
• 1-3 years of experience working in content management with an established media company
• Excellent knowledge of productivity Suites such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in MAM and DAM workflows and storage systems
• Basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, etc.) and other video editing software such as Avid, DaVinci, or Final Cut

• Knowledge of CDN (Content Delivery Network) and Content Management System (CMS) processes
• General knowledge of transcode servers, preferably Telestream Vantage systems
• Experience with Projective Strawberry Production Asset Management a plus
• Experience with Signiant Media Shuttle file transfer a plus
