Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group's Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm's operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver an outstanding client experience and drive scalability. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.

Network Operations is responsible for managing the global network and security infrastructure of the physical infrastructure along with cloud infrastructure. The team performs multiple operational tasks, projects and engineering aspects in routing, load balancing, monitoring and optimizing the network. The Network DevOps is a newly created function under the Network Operations umbrella and is responsible for the automating the maintenance and implementation of physical infrastructure along with operationalization of various cloud technologies such as NSG's.

As a Lead Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the Network DevOps function utilizing agile principles to deliver on automation of on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
  • Be hands-on, improve operational efficiency, and develop a vision that leads to our DevOps team's long-term success.
  • Define, plan and execute strategic roadmaps for self-service, highly scalable, cost-efficient, observable, auditable, and reliable infrastructure services as standard practice, includes DevOps and automation.
  • Design, implement, and management of pipelines and continuously improve the evolution of CI/CD's release pipelines.
  • Lead team transformation from traditional infrastructure management to cloud infrastructure management.
  • Identify and close automation and operational gaps in monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting of the infrastructure.
  • Develop tools to gain better visibility of real-time network health and performance.
  • Review, track and update network operations policies, standards and documentation
  • Assist with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
  • Perform root cause analysis of the incidents and implement process improvements



What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in a technology or financial organization working on on-prem infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, DevOps and automation. Including 5+ years in leading a DevOps function
  • Experience with private and public cloud providers such GCP, AWS, Azure, and VmWare NSX/PKS
  • Experience with release management tools and CI/CD pipelines preferably via Azure Devops.
  • In-depth experience with infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Hands on experience developing scripts using Python for network device configuration automation and interfacing with REST API's
  • Familiarity with interacting with SQL databases (MySQL etc.)
  • Experience of traditional networking concepts and key vendors i.e. Cisco is highly desirable
