Information Specialist
The Challenge:

As a data analyst, you love diving into the data and turning it into meaningful insights. Do you want to grow your analytics skills while developing innovative solutions to problems? With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. We need you to bring your expertise to apply an enterprise wide set of disciplines and processes.

As a client-facing data analyst on our complex systems team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you'll also advise your client on what the information means, how it can be used to make an impact, and analytical and computation techniques and methodology for problem solutions

How You'll Contribute:

As a data analyst on our team, you'll:

  • Use your data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through collection analysis of large data sets.
  • Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
  • Apply communication skills and data analytics expertise by simplifying technical requirements and trends, based on audience.
  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
  • Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, and slides.
  • Grow your communication and technical skills by merging consulting and big data to create data-centric solutions across mission partners.

You Have:

  • 10 years of experience in managing the implementation of information, engineering projects, system analysis, design, and programming
  • Knowledge of planning, analyzing, designing, construction, and implementing information engineer for complex systems
  • Ability to manage setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs
  • Ability to work directly with client to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience managing implementation of information and engineering projects

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in managing the implementation of information engineering projects and experience in system analysis, design, and programming experience
  • Knowledge of developing analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions
  • Ability to provide feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements
  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
