The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Flight Operations Technical Analyst (Level 2) to support our Flight Operations Engineering department in Seal Beach, California.
The Flight Operations Technical Analyst role will perform detailed analyses to support production of specific aircraft dispatch and performance data, operational documents and software. This role also encompasses a variety of documentation and publication responsibilities.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze customer requirements to produce, revise and deliver flight operations documentation in multiple media formats.
  • Evaluate data for conformance to engineering specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.
  • Generate performance configuration quotes for sundry sales and new deliveries.
  • Develop and implement continuous process improvements (Beta testing during transition to web based Airplane Configuration management application).
  • Collaborate with other analysts and engineers to validate Flight Operations engineering data, graphical charts, and airplane performance configuration data into final documentation deliverables.
  • Produce final deliverables using federation of Adobe Illustrator, FrameMaker, and Acrobat. (twice per year, per model).
  • Maintain airline fleet performance configuration using web based Airplane Configuration management application (APC2).
  • Build performance data in Airplane Configuration application and FASTdoc to fulfill airplane program directives and contractual requirements.
  • Generate verified performance data in advance of deliveries and ferry flights to support Delivery Center.
  • Provide responses to customer inquiries via Boeing Communication systems and Group Performance Data Mailbox.


This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Knowledge in Business process and Communication.


Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
