Farmer’s Fridge is on a mission to make it simple for everyone to eat well. We serve healthy, handcrafted meals and snacks from our growing network of 400+ software-enabled vending machines that we refer to as smart Fridges, and a new direct-to-consumer business. Our Team:

The New Market Launch team’s goal is to project manage and execute the launch of new markets in an effort to create processes and build the operational infrastructure required to effectively service demand in these new markets. As a brand new team, we are excited to help have a hand in paving the way for Farmer’s Fridge to be a house-hold name across the country.

Your Role:

We are looking for a Field Support Specialist to assist with building out the operations required to support growth in these  new and existing markets. To be successful in this role, you are someone who has a passion for developing and standardizing processes, identifying and cultivating talent, and doing whatever it takes to keep our clients happy and our customers healthy!

As this role will be critical to support national expansion from the frontlines in these markets, we do anticipate the role to require 75% travel.

What You’ll Do:

• Train and onboard frontline and management personnel (drivers, merchandisers, managers, etc) in new and existing markets and ensure that they are aligned on all operations related processes in order to fulfill our clients’ demand in these markets.

• Help support the building, acquiring, and maintaining of operational infrastructure required to service a new or existing market (pick up vans, Fridge installs, complete Fridge dry runs, drop vans for servicing, etc).

• Serve as the “boots on the ground” in new and existing markets by running routes to ensure we are meeting client needs. 

• Assist with hiring and evaluating personnel(drivers, merchandisers, etc.) in new and existing markets.

• Communicate the the New Market Launch, Distribution, and Sales team to update on latest developments in the market.

• If there is downtime time between new market launches, this position is expected to jump into any operational role and market to provide support where needed.

What Your Background May Look Like:

• Proven success making autonomous decisions in the moment. You understand the effects each choice has on the business and team members.
• Eager to roll up your sleeves to help the team accomplish its goals.
• Technically proficient with G Suite/Microsoft Office
• 2-3 years of experience in driving/merchandising for a food/beverage distribution company
• 1-2 years of experience as a “Lead Driver” assisting in training and onboarding new hires
