Job Description:

The Director, Digital Supply Chain and Manufacturing Applications will serve as a key member of the Enterprise Application & Services leadership team and will lead all Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality systems applications projects and software application support for L3Harris. The leader will develop and maintain the applications roadmap to support the CHQ Operations team. The leader will have a deep understanding with SCM, MFG and/or Quality applications ideally with experience implementing and maintaining SAP and/or MES solutions. They will build a team of dedicated employees to drive digital capabilities and associated change management across the enterprise by utilizing LHX applications best practices. The Director, SCM and MFG applications leader leverages deep understanding of business processes and their technology application to design and deliver appropriate applications solutions (Industry 4.0, SCM collaboration/transactions, vendor enablement, etc). In addition, they will develop a transition plan for retirement of outdated SCM, MFG and Quality applications to standardized corporate solutions.

This position is remote but has the flexibility to be based out of several LHX locations including Melbourne, FL; Rockwall, TX; Rochester, NY; or Salt Lake City, UT.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Enterprise Applications leadership team to align supply chain and manufactuirng stechnology solutions with business strategies
  • Provides oversight and support for all Digital Supply Chain systems including SAP, Cincom, MES (Factorlogix)
  • Develop budget and execution plans as part of annual operating budget cycle/planIn close partnership with the business senior leadership, lead the development of applications roadmaps and recommended rollout sequence to associated business units
  • Implement prioritized improvement opportunities in such a way to maximize business benefit Provide regular communication and deliver project updates on project work plans, milestones, and results to client stakeholders including senior executives
  • Manage multiple vendors relationships and ensure vendors align to required SLA's and project delivery timelines
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of Managers, individual contributors and external resources
  • Work with the business leadership to analyze the cost / benefit / risk of a proposed architecture/technology
  • Identify and implement key metrics and monitors to ensure project and initiative deliverables are achieved
  • Clearly communicate decisions, standards, and discussions to relevant parties across the organization
  • Lead the development, budgeting, and deployment of Manufacturing execution system corporate roadmap


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of prior related experience leading global team members and initiatives or Graduate Degree with 13 years of prior related experience
  • 7 years experience leading application support and/or deployments - SAP experience on ECC desired, MES experience
  • 4 years experience with vendor management (SLAs, deliverables and SOWs)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing and sustaining SaaS products
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain planning, MRP, Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution and Wharehouse Management concepts
  • Experience with successful ERP launches with a leading or key role
  • Experience as project manager or technical lead for large application deployments and sustainment
  • Ability to work across regions, sectors and segments to influence change across the organization
  • Demonstrated success leading large IT technology initiatives with enterprise level impact and have managed supplier/vendor relationships
  • Capability to understand and analyze complex business processes/problems and develop clear proposals depicting solutions (e.g. P2P, Manufacturing to Finish Goods, Quality engineering, etc)
  • Exceptional teaming and collaboration both internally and externally
  • Ability to engage internal Business Partners and team members at all levels of the organization and can present ideas and concepts to executive leaders
  • Self aware leader who has the ability to resolve cross team conflicts

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $127,500 - $236,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
