Position Description:

CGI is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team in Pittsburgh supporting Retail & Consumer Services clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services. Our Retail & Consumer Services practice is growing, and we are looking to add a seasoned professional increase our delivery capabilities and thought leadership. We are seeking an experienced leader to lead our delivery, manage a team of consultants, and grow our footprint in specific accounts and the Pittsburgh Region.

As Director of Consulting Services will be responsible for our delivery, consulting leadership, and member management. You will manage a team of senior consultants and consultants reporting directly to you. The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that helps shape and bring innovative solutions to our Pittsburgh clients. Working closely with CGI and client teams, the successful candidate will bring a broad application, delivery, and industry focus, and be responsible for guiding and communicating solutions and architectures that support client business strategies and needs. The Director will share their expertise and insights with customer leaders around a range of key areas, including strategy, project and program management, operations, and software development.
You will be part of account development team, understanding client business needs, shaping solutions in a consultative way. This will contribute to our account and overall business growth.

Our ideal candidate has led delivery of software development initiatives, managed teams, and has Retail experience. The Convenience sub-segment of Retail is a plus.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Overall accountability of service delivery to our clients • Develop strong relationships with our clients' business, organization and culture, becoming a trusted advisor• Support and lead the solution development and delivery for complex deals and implementations • As part of the account business development team, Influence internal and external CGI stakeholders to prioritize winning sales strategies • Lead a team of professionals who be combination of your direct reports and client delivery team• Work with cross functional teams of techno-functional personnel to propose the most likely to win approach • Coach existing delivery teams as required in order to help them achieve their goals. • Understand and articulate Client Problem statements and develop solutions that can span strategy, operations, brand management, customer experience• Identify and prioritize emerging technology and business trends to solve for clients' existing business needs• Apply delivery and customer management best practices• Manage clientsatisfaction in partnership with the account team• Develop understanding of CGI organization, capabilities and offerings

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

* 7+ years as Director, Senior Manager, Senior Consultant or similar role
* Demonstrated director/senior leadership in IT and software development/delivery
* Demonstrated agility and flexibility to advise and work on multiple projects
* Excellent written/oral communications skills
* Strong bias for teaming with other subject matter experts, business and technical teams and leaders to drive results
* Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly, understand stakeholder needs, and develop innovative solutions to address identified pain points
