ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Digital Asset Manager, you will work within a team to manage a library of omni channel assets for our top tier clients. You will work closely with our internal team as well as clients and vendors maintaining and implementing digital asset management standard methodologies. This individual will also be asked to help generate efficiencies that help provide increased productivity and transparency for agency and clients.
With a high level of organization, you have experience working in digital asset management, as well as experience managing assets during all stages of production. The Digital Asset Manager will work with the team to maintain multiple libraries with accurately catalogued assets. On top of being responsible for the continuous review and evaluation of operations and updates of technology, you have the ability to proactively problem-solve and troubleshoot issues that arise.
In this role one must have excellent communication and management skills, and knowledge of artwork production. You will work with client asset management teams, various departments and agencies to gather assets for both integration into our DAM and client’s DAM systems
Responsibilities:
- Asset management in multiple platforms for omni channel library
- Maintain accurate records and quality control for record data; audit existing assets and metadata as needed
- Facilitate uploading of assets into the platform and responsible for tagging assets with relevant details that are consistent and accurate to current standards
- Manage asset distribution across multiple teams
- Manage and organize entire lifecycle of assets
- Develop the database to improve flow of communication and delivery to partners
- Maintenance of DAM procedure documentation
- Continue development / updating of training materials and lead training sessions
- Work closely with teams to find ways to improve workflows
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ Years of experience working with Digital Asset Management systems; experience in agency or library management setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, able to deal with all business contacts
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and high level of technological literacy on both Windows and Mac platforms, as well as knowledge of video and photo file formats
- Proficient understanding in Taxonomy and keyword development and working with Metadata
- Basic understanding of creative/design to enable efficient working relationship with creative partners and agencies
- Knowledge in production/post production workflows
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
