Deviation and Compliance Support Service Manager (IT Life Science)

Information Technology Risk Management and Security Governance Risk and Compliance (ITRMS GRC) is an essential component of the current IT enterprise that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain and Marketing organizations. As part of the IT Product Lifecycle.
Support Services organization , this position will focus on the IT Deviation management service , enabling the end-to-end process to address compliance non-conformance from company IT controls , policy, procedures, standards and baselines .
The Service Manager - IT Deviation Management Support IT will be responsible for managing the Global IT Deviation process and service . This role reports to the Director , IT Product Lifecycle Support Service s Line Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the intake and execution of the IT Deviation Management processes across our company's operations globally and regionally (USA).
- Continuously monitor the status and performance of assigned service area
- Manages service demand, delivery, and resources within assigned service area
- Oversees and coordinates work of the service area with business stakeholders and/or staff supporting the compliance investigations or incidents.
- Works with Service Line Lead to identify opportunities for improvement within assigned service area
- Acts as a point of risk and issue escalation for resources within the service area
- Performs and/or facilitates the work of the service area
- IT Compliance Subject Matter Expert on IT Controls, Policies, Procedures and related Regulations.
Desired Education Level:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required. Concentration in Engineering, Sciences, Information Systems or related field preferred.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years working in IT Risk Management, Quality or Compliance in Life Sciences
- Previous experience managing a team
- Ability to work with cross functional teams within IT and other business units
- IT Risk and Compliance Management
- Understanding and ability to perform services of the service line.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Detailed knowledge of company IT governance framework
- Broad-based knowledge of technology solutions (e.g. digital)
- Practical (in application of current governance controls)
- Consultative
- Assertive
- Experience in management of a service
Preferred Experience and Skills :
- Experience working in a consulting or client facing role is a plus
- Experience working in Agile ways of working is a plus
