The Business Systems Lead will be the key liaison working across multiple departments within Chipper Cash’s organization to deliver business process automation and technical solutions.  In this role he/she will implement technology strategies and solutions that are compatible with existing systems while at the same time being consistent with the long-term business needs, strategies and policies of Chipper Cash’s organization and its key stakeholders.  To be successful in this role, he/she will gain expert knowledge of functional business area processes and systems.  This knowledge will enable them to influence business stakeholders to adopt new business processes to drive operational excellence and efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing

Acquisition and Deployment

• Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy a new ERP system to replace existing applications throughout the organization
• Collaborate with department and Accounting/Finance teams in the testing of the new software programs and applications
• Ensure that any new system integration into business systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications
• Liaise with software suppliers and internal stakeholders to address issues in program logic and the interoperability of existing systems and how this will change in the new system
• Design, develop, install and manage application enhancements and upgrades

Operational Management

• Drive and implement strategies that leverage technology.  Partner closely with the leadership team to align information technology with organizational goals.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency
• Manage projects from inception through implementation and ensure high user satisfaction by interacting with Project Managers, Technical Teams and Key Business users
• Ensure delivery of projects within determined time and budgetary constraints
• Work closely with the Accounting/Finance team to ensure periodic reconciliations are established between ERP system and e-commerce platform

Strategy and Planning

• Identify and communicate risks and propose and implement appropriate action to mitigate them
• Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems
• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices

What You Should Have

• 5+ years direct experience managing applications and/or systems management
• Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions
• Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems
• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping
• Strong knowledge of system and data quality assurance best practices and methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technology concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels
• Able to energize the appropriate teams in the organization during project implementations
• Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations
• Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent analytical, project management and team management skills e.g. planning, budgetary control, people management etc
• Strong history with implementing organizational change
• Accounting/Finance background
• Extensive experience with core software applications such as Python, SAS, R for analysis purpose
• Experience with database platforms and visual tools, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau and Power BI
