The Business Specialist role is a project-based position that is responsible for executing projects that move the Business Customer Service department forward. The day to day will entail working on, providing status updates, and maintaining documentation for your projects. Collaborate on the development and implementation of upcoming and existing projects.

Special projects are defined as not being in the normal day to day process of functions of our business customer service team. Our team has worked on projects involving network migrations, partnering with SIG (software*) & Data Analytics, and more. A strong customer facing skillset is needed as projects often require working directly with our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (but not limited to)

  • Attend project meetings. Document all projects currently being worked. Keep leadership aware of project status by providing status updates and maintaining accurate records on projects.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of upcoming and existing projects.
  • Update and complete all service orders associated with projects.
  • Data integrity such as cleaning up data, auditing data between systems, investigating data that requires human intervention (i.e unused IPs, old equipment, data requiring physical change).
  • Coordinate network migrations with clients and their respective IT personnel.
  • Provide training documentation on processes developed via projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Colorado Residents: typical pay range for this role will be from $19 - $21 per hour depending on experience.

EDUCATION:

  • 1 year of relevant job experience. Relevant job experience is described as: Job experience in similar industry and/or job experience with similar essential duties.



EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service role in the telecom industry



SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills internally and customer-facing with a focus on training
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization capabilities
  • Ability to challenge the status quo with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to remain approachable in a fast-paced environment
  • This position does require the ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Willingness to consider alternate approaches to facilitate training
  • Acceptance and respect for others and ability to see different perspectives
  • Proficiency in CMS, SIS, Metaswitch, Excel, Smartsheet, Sharepoint is a plus. Must be comfortable navigating and adapting to modern software tools like the programs mentioned above.
