Overview:

Securian Financial is hiring a Policy Form Representative for our corporate headquarters location in Saint Paul, MN. This is a hybrid role - two days in the office and three days remote per week, subject to change. Securian Financial is a Fortune 500 company that provides life insurance, investment products, retirement plans, asset management and other financial services.

As part of the Case Administration Team, the Policy Form Representative works in an ever-changing environment to put clients first. The Case Administration Team is the divisional communication hub for new client sales, as well as maintenance of existing client programs.

We work with a variety of sales distribution sources and strive to be the product provider of choice for these partners.

We are responsible for the integrity of the new client program information entered into our systems, as well as performing maintenance of existing client records in the credit insurance, debt protection and mortgage insurance markets.

We produce and deliver many documents to our clients ranging from shelf products with little customization to debt protection implementations that are fully customized to meet client needs.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
  • Meet remotely with clients, internal departments, and channel partners to assist with choosing an appropriate program based on loans the client would like to offer protection on and collect relevant information.
  • Serve as liaison between departments to implement new debt protection plans, make changes to existing plans, and troubleshoot any problems clients may experience.
  • Personalize filed and approved documents and create brochures and training materials for credit and debt protection clients.
  • Communicate with outside forms vendors, sales distribution resources and clients to ensure credit insurance and debt protection insurance forms are accurately reproduced.
  • Manage credit insurance client review process to ensure existing programs meet state regulations.
  • Work on special projects as needed.
  • Navigate internal systems to view/change client program details.
  • Track established service standards in Excel and Salesforce to ensure client satisfaction.


Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of customer service/administration experience.

  • Positive service attitude with a commitment to constant improvement and experimentation.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, neatness and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities in a constantly changing environment.
  • Technical skills - experience using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Outlook, and other relevant software preferred.

Physical job requirements:
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  • Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 6-8 hours per day
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Teams for meetings for approximately 2-4 hours per day
