The Role:
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about sharing their expertise and knowledge acquired in the Adoption and Gestational Carrier journeys. As a company, we care deeply and are committed to helping people understand their options and how to navigate the journeys. We are looking for an individual who is based in the USA and able to support our Carrot members in either of these journey types. The individual would be able to speak to the various pathways, timelines, estimated costs, what to expect, how to choose providers, determine which providers are needed, and answer any nuanced questions related to the journeys. This is a 10 hr/week consultant role.
The Team:
The team consists of a diverse group of individuals with expertise in areas such as fertility, mental health, nutrition and pregnancy. They have a passion for continuous learning and education with an evidence-based approach.
All of them care deeply and are committed to helping individuals:
- understand their fertility and family-forming options
- optimize their overall and reproductive health
- navigate the pregnancy journey
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of experience working at adoption/gestational carrier agencies OR experience in both of these spaces.
- Awareness and understanding of cultural sensitivities related to the adoption/gestational carrier journey in the USA.
- Excellent listening skills and an ability to empathetically provide support and knowledge to assist others working through their family forming decision-making.
- Ability to function well from a work-remote environment, with an ability to have reliable and accessible online and digital resources and to be able to function within a confidential private space.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Legal knowledge of adoption/gestational carrier spaces is a plus but not required.
- Health technology experience
- Ability to be agile in role
