Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking energetic and results oriented Senior Quality Managers (Level - L) to join the 747/767 Quality Team in Everett, Washington.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem solver who relies heavily on data and analysis to drive decisions and a leader who can effectively implement solutions in an ever evolving environment. Transformational leadership skills will be necessary to build team engagement and lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives including One Boeing Production System, Defect Reduction and Lean Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of functions and activities that affect product quality with a Total Quality perspective
  • Lead change and improvement across the production system and quality system
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
  • Teach and rely on structured problem solving methods to resolve issues and drive improvement
  • Understand and teach current standards, policies and requirements
  • Communicate with internal and external regulatory and compliance officials and support onsite audit
  • Champion key initiatives including six sigma, analytics based decision making, forward looking measures, standardized work and structured problem solving


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working execution to safety, quality, delivery & cost commitments, utilizing production systems such as the One Boeing Production System
  • 3+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
  • 5+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication


Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Shift Work Statement:
This is for a 1st shift. Business requires off-shift leadership at times due to projects and delivery schedule.

Summary pay range: 143,650 - 194,350
