Job Description
Tanfeeth is a program that establishes a direct electronic link between SAMA and other banks in Saudi Arabia. SAMA disseminate broadcasts instructions & enquiries for banks to acknowledge, action and respond to manually.
Job responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the processing of requests received from regulatory portals such as THANFEETH, SAMANET, and THANFEETH B2B (WATHEEQ), ensuring all requests (even manual) are handled and closed accurately within the defined SLA.
- Stay up-to-date with Saudi banking regulations and procedures, utilizing this knowledge and coordinate with Tech and product team to deliver new waves and requirements under Tanfeeth program.
- Lead and mentor the team that will be working 24/7, providing guidance and support to ensure regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards are consistently met. Will be accountable for end-to-end Tanfeeth program.
- Monitor the automation B2B Tanfeeth channel and ensure smooth process and report any challenges to respective LOB also mange any UAT test for new waves.
- Effective partnership with cross LOBs such as technology, compliance, product and also the regulators such that the operational flows and procedures are well managed.
- Provide progressive updates to senior management on compliance activities, regulatory requests, and system performance.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly reports on compliance activities, regulatory requests, and system performance for management review.
- Identify, escalate, and address any system-related issues promptly. Collaborate with relevant departments to implement potential enhancements in systems and processes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Leadership role for 5 years with strong knowledge in Banking industry.
- Hands on experience on regulatory systems and Tanfeeth Program
- Good command over native Arabic language and English.
- Strong leadership skills that cover 24/7 operations and fast paced learner.
- Experience in managing UAT testing and defining process requirements at the back of regulatory requirements.
- Microsoft office knowledge required: MS Excel experience is a must.
- Ability to effectively plan the team workforce to manage the critical deadlines.
- Demonstrate Ownership and Accountability for the entire team.
- Strong & confident communicator
- Ability to drive initiatives and work with various teams locally and globally.
- Display high levels of integrity; operate on the basis of open and honest interaction.
- Results driven individual with a proven track record.
- Candidates must be flexible and prepared to work in various shifts and weekends and holidays.
- Off-hours support will be required to address urgent regulator-related calls.
- This is a 24/7 shift-based role, requiring candidates to work 5 days a week.
