Operations Support Specialist - Houston team (80-100%)

Become a key member of our dynamic nine-person team within the Operations department and become the central point of contact for a large scope of teams and actively support our business. As a central interface at T&O Operations for a wide range of internal clients in front teams or other departments in Geneva, Luxembourg, and Singapore,  you will ensure smooth and effective operations.

YOUR ROLE

  • Communication Hub: Act as the single point of contact for internal queries related to securities transfers, settlements, funds, custody, cash services, tax reporting, and precious metals. Resolve issues independently with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Risk Awareness : Maintain high vigilance and risk awareness to identify, assess, and prioritize operational risks effectively.

  • Innovation : Develop creative solutions that meet client expectations while adhering to internal policies, banking regulations, and legal requirements.

  • Client focus : Provide regular reports on operational performance, identify trends, and suggest improvements. Organize feedback sessions with internal clients.

  • Collaboration : Support internal teams and operations in managing projects, monitoring exceptions, and delivering constructive feedback.

  • Operational Excellence : Build broad expertise across banking operations (e.g., corporate actions, funds, taxes, invoicing, settlements, payments) and contribute to a knowledge hub for middle office functions.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed banking apprenticeship; ideally supplemented by a completed or ongoing degree in business administration or business information technology

  • Several years of experience in banking Middle and Back Office activities

  • Good command of securities operations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, client-oriented mindset, strong attention to details, good stakeholders’ management skills

  • Ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and transversal environment

  • Proficient in French and English, German proficiency will be appreciated

  • Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
