Job Title: Operations Support Specialist & Mapping Analyst (Owner Retention Division)        

Department/Business Unit: US Field Operations-20

Reports to: Owner Retention Division Supervisor                    

Status: Full-Time (40 hrs.)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt



Job Summary

The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations tasks and duties, streamlining processes and procedures for maximum efficiency, and facilitating franchisee-related transactions.

The Mapping Analyst is responsible for mapping job functions. This position will play an integral role in ensuring our territory descriptions and boundaries coincide, verifying that office locations comply with company standards and performing analyses in support of company growth.


Responsibilities/Duties:

    Support Day-to-Day Operations: Aid in the management of daily operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning of field activities.

    Ensure Efficient Operations and Compliance: Deliver comprehensive support to the operations team and franchisees by effectively managing and executing all operational tasks, ensuring they are rolled out efficiently and in strict adherence to compliance processes and company policies.

    Optimize Processes: Contribute to the enhancement of operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

    Facilitate Transactions: Assist in the coordination of franchise-related transactions.

    Maintain Communication: Foster ongoing communication and support for team members and franchisees to promote their development.

    Monitor Workflows: Help track and manage operational workflows.

    Mapping Support: Utilize mapping software to create/modify territory polygons, analyzing demographics, resolving mapping issues, and implementing updates or changes.

    Mapping Support: Provide geographic analysis and reporting support, including preparing proposals, handling ad hoc requests (e.g., territory plotting and distance calculations), and maintaining mapping resources.

    Assist the broader team with various tasks as required to ensure smooth operations and the overall success of franchisee operations.


Qualifications 

    Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with franchisees and members within Operations or outside of Operations across various backgrounds and personalities.

    Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented: Exhibit self-motivation, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and adaptability to change.

    Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Project Organization: Assist in initiating, planning, prioritizing, and organizing multiple projects while ensuring deadlines are met.

    Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong or advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and DocuSign.

    Typing & Administrative Skills: Possess strong typing skills (50+ WPM) and the ability to efficiently manage administrative tasks.


Education and Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an operations-oriented role within the franchise industry or comparable multi-unit retail industry experience.


Physical Requirements

Position requires working at a desk at the corporate office for periods of time up to eight hours.
