What you’ll be doing;
Drive mobile plant to manage the waste reception areas and load vehicles for outward waste transport
Carry out routine & basic maintenance of mobile plant, including oil and water checks etc, reporting defects found
Receive deliveries of process consumables
Assist with on-site traffic management and site housekeeping
Operate overhead travelling refuse cranes
Operate weighbridge & plant maintenance computer systems
Liaise with contractors and suppliers, on and off site
Support operations and maintenance colleagues as required
Compliance with company environmental, health and safety procedures and statutory requirements
Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management
What we're looking for;
Essential
Capability for independent leadership of a small team within a complex environment
Ability to operate, or train to operate, a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant
Intermediate computer skills
Familiarity with health & safety procedures
Able to communicate effectively orally & in writing
Available and willing to work overtime (paid) when workload demands
Desirable
Experience within an engineering or continuous process environment
Current mobile plant and fork truck driving qualifications
Familiarity with environmental procedure
