DP World are recruiting for an Operations Supervisor to join our growing team in Coventry. An Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff.
About The Role
How you will contributeafety procedures are adhered to relating to processing and checking
- Daily completion of management reports etc.
- Achievement of productivity levels in line with agreed KPI’s
- Ensure that the team follows correct processes and standards
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained
- Provide help and assistance to other departments as and when required
- Promote a sound employee relations climate for all employees
- Communicate appropriately with external and internal customers at all times
- Coach and Mentor operatives and Team Leads
Your Key Skills/Experience
- Good level of Maths and English
- Team Player
- Warehouse Operations knowledge
- People management skills
- Supervising a team
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Quality systems knowledge - to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: time-keeping, quality, productivity, etc.)
- Travel may be required
