Behind every great school day is an operation that runs smoothly. The Operations Specialist keeps Spark's middle school humming: the front office, family communication, student records and logistics, and the dozens of details that let teachers teach and students learn. It is a fast, people-facing, highly organized role at the center of the building.
What you'll doRun the front office and be a warm, organized first point of contact for students, families, and staff.
Communicate with families in both Spanish and English, by phone, in person, and in writing.
Keep student records, attendance, and enrollment information accurate and up to date.
Handle day-to-day logistics, scheduling, and supplies so the building runs smoothly.
Use school systems and software quickly and accurately, and process information fast.
Support school leaders on operations projects and other responsibilities as needed.
Fluent in Spanish and English; you will work directly with Spanish-speaking families.
Hyper-organized, efficient, and productive, with a positive, can-do attitude.
Comfortable with technology, and able to type and work quickly and accurately.
Solid with everyday, high-school-level math.
Evidence of hard work, reliability, and growing responsibility in past roles.
