The Role
The Senior Operations Specialist will take ownership of the full refurbishment cycle, making sure cars move smoothly from acquisition all the way to publishing. In this role, you’ll coordinate across teams, solve problems on the ground, and keep processes running efficiently. You’ll also play a big part in spotting gaps, improving workflows, and helping the team deliver refurbished cars that meet our quality standards and are ready for customers on time.
What You’ll Do
- Overseeing the end-to-end operations cycle of the refurbishment process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations from car acquisition to publishing.
- Maintaining a close relationship with various teams involved in the refurbishment process, such as warehouse operations, refurbishment, spare parts sourcing, final quality control, and imaging.
- Providing constructive opinions and guidance regarding car condition and refurbishment, leveraging your expertise to make informed decisions that enhance the overall quality and value of the refurbished vehicles.
- Taking responsibility for pushing the limits and capabilities of the team to achieve targets and continually improving the refurbishment process.
- Identifying and raising any flags or issues that could impact the flow of refurbishment operations, proactively addressing challenges, and implementing necessary corrective actions.
- Being accountable for monitoring and minimizing the number of days it takes from car acquisition to publishing, ensuring efficient turnaround times and meeting set deadlines.
- Working towards providing general alignment between inspection, assessments, and refurbishment, ensuring consistency and accuracy in evaluating the condition of vehicles and executing the necessary refurbishment tasks.
- Able to set and abide to Sylndr standards for refurbishing cars and providing cars with quality to our customers.
Who You Are
- Good knowledge of cars technicalities and car sales
- Broad knowledge of multiple make and model cars.
- Good general knowledge of car refurbishment, spare parts, car paint condition
- Experience in used car sales and consumer requirements and expectations when it comes to used cars.
- Innovative and able to bring up ideas fixing car issues.
- Fair knowledge of Google sheet
- Able to interpret data in an easy and effective way
- Able to create reports and dashboards with basic knowledge of data handling.
