Job Description
You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Closing and Funding Specialist . You have found the right team.
As a WM Operations - Mortgage/Closing Analyst in our Mortgage Solutions team, you will be responsible for sourcing applicable fees, preparing closing documents, reviewing conditions, and working directly with various stakeholders to close transactions. You will need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the origination cycle, regulations, and all relevant mortgage documents. Your role will also involve resolving challenging problems, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and displaying client service excellence. You will be expected to achieve and exceed work goals for productivity, quality, and turnaround time
Job Responsibilities:

  • Source applicable fees from the title company and vendors to ensure timely disclosure to clients within regulatory time frames.
  • Prepare closing documents according to state, regulatory, and internal guidelines, understanding execution requirements at the closing table.
  • Review and ensure all credit and non-credit conditions are met.
  • Collaborate with mortgage solutions, vendors, and partners to close and fund transactions.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the origination cycle, regulations, and mortgage documents.
  • Display client service excellence and demonstrate proficiency in reviewing loan details for compliance.
  • Resolve challenging problems by identifying innovative solutions and communicating findings clearly.
  • Complete accurate disbursement of funds and adhere to J.P. Morgan's fair lending practices.
  • Achieve productivity, quality, and turnaround time goals, and prioritize workflows effectively.


Required Qualifications, Skills and CapabilitiesExhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Understand mortgage documents and the mortgage origination life cycle.
  • Benefit from past exposure to regulatory, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Handle exceptions and demonstrate subject matter expertise, challenging the status quo.
  • Act independently in a fast-paced, high-production environment, meeting targets for volume, timing, and quality.
  • Communicate effectively, motivate, and foster a high-performance work environment.
  • Learn, adapt, and achieve proficiency efficiently.
  • Coordinate and work well in teams, managing time effectively with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Commit strongly to customer service and teamwork to contribute to high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and willingness to work North America schedules, adjusting for Daylight Savings Time.
