Operations Manager
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000

About the Role

MarTecha is hiring a strategic, systems-minded Operations Manager to design the structure, processes, and automation that support a scaling business. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role working directly with the CEO as a true right-hand partner - turning strategy into execution, shaping the company’s operational foundation, and building the infrastructure that enables growth.

We’re looking for someone who not only builds systems but gets them across the finish line - someone who can translate big ideas into clear plans, drive accountability, and see projects through to completion. The right person thrives on solving complex problems, implementing tools and processes that create clarity and momentum, and building the operational backbone that supports both our team and our clients.

This is a full-time position based in Austin, TX, with in-person meetings and working sessions alongside leadership and delivery teams.

Outcomes You’ll Drive

1. Smooth Client Delivery & Execution

  • Confidently lead client calls with strategic insight, clear communication, and strong executive presence.
  • Projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
  • SLAs are met and tracked.
  • Handoffs between teams are seamless, with minimal friction.

2. Standardized Processes & Supporting Documentation

  • A central SOP library is built and actively used.
  • 80%+ of recurring processes are documented and adopted.
  • New hires can onboard quickly with clear, repeatable systems.

3. Team Alignment & Capacity Planning

  • Capacity and workload forecasting are visible and proactively managed.
  • Hiring needs are identified before they impact delivery.
  • New team members ramp quickly with structured onboarding.

4. Operational Health & Visibility

  • Metrics and reporting systems provide leadership with weekly insights into performance and risk.
  • Escalation paths are clear and issues are addressed before they become emergencies.

5. Emerging Technology Leadership

  • Build a forward-looking roadmap to integrate AI assistants, agents, and automation into operations and delivery.
  • Design and launch intelligent systems that fundamentally change how services are delivered and scaled.
  • Continuously evaluate new tools to keep MarTecha ahead of industry shifts and client needs.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6+ years of operations or delivery leadership experience in a consulting or services environment.
  • Executive presence that enables you to lead high-stakes conversations, influence outcomes, and represent the company with credibility.
  • A builder’s mindset - you thrive on creating systems from scratch, not just maintaining them.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A balance of accountability and empathy when leading internal teams.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools, automation platforms, and reporting systems.
  • Deep familiarity with AI and a passion for using emerging technology to scale teams and services.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience in marketing ops, revenue operations, or technology services/consulting
  • companies/ agencies. 
  • Experience working with remote-first teams.
  • Prior vendor management, contract negotiation, or procurement experience.
