The Role

Operations Manager - NIKE, Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Lead a team of subject matter experts and apply their expertise to partner with functional partners in Product, Merchandising, Sourcing, Delivery, Materials, and Planning; create industry leading tools and reports including in depth analysis and key metrics supporting Promo and TEAM Apparel; triangulate historical metric driven insights with Product and Sports Marketing teams to make decisions on raw material inventory and manufacturing plans grounded in athlete service needs and domestic manufacturing landscapes; assess and communicate future risk and opportunity in the onshore and nearshore space with cross functional partners in order to enable informed decisions; collaborate with cross functional partners to understand Sports Marketing strategies and geography landscapes to craft future supply chain strategies; collaborate with internal partners to make manufacturing decisions advised by collective expertise, strategic business priorities, collaborator input, and data driven metrics; collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure consistency of information, standard methodologies, and develop systems knowledge; maintain analytics to support continuous improvement, developing new and ad hoc reports for executive level leadership as required; gather market intelligence, customer forecast, promotional activity, seasonality and other external factors that impact demand; and work with key stakeholders to have the most accurate demand and supply information available for the organization and influence category and global strategy. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY. 

Employer will accept a Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, or Business Administration and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a logistics-related occupation.  
 
Experience must include: 

  • Supply Chain Planning 

  • SAP 

  • Inventory Management 

  • Vendor Management 

  • Analytics and KPI Management 

  • Manufacturing Operations 

  • Order Fulfillment
