Last Energy seeks a highly adaptable and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. This versatile role is crucial for overseeing our office and real estate operations, ensuring our physical workspace supports our team's needs and aligns with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will excel in managing various administrative and operational functions, acting as a Swiss army knife to address operational gaps, and manage vendors to enhance overall efficiency. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a Swiss army knife executor, filling in administrative and operational gaps as they arise
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all real estate and office-related operations
- Oversee the maintenance and management of our physical workspace, ensuring it meets the needs of our team and operations
- Continuously assess and improve background operations across various business and administrative domains
- Identify and triage any arising issues, providing hands-on solutions or coordinating freelance labor as needed
- Implement and manage processes to enhance operational effectiveness and support the organization's overall objectives
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by addressing operational needs that impact the entire team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives and drive operational improvements
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years in operations management, facilities management, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing office and real estate operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational issues
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders
- Experience in implementing and managing processes that enhance operational efficiency and support organizational goals
- Proficiency in using project management tools, and familiarity with basic IT infrastructure
