Tower Research Ventures (TRV) is the venture arm of Tower Research Capital. TRV is hiring an Operations Manager to help scale TRV’s incubation effort. The role will support TRV and TRV portfolio companies with any and all operational needs required to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Startup operations:
- Responsible for the operational setup and management of our incubations. For example, setting up bank accounts, corporate credit cards, HR systems, payroll, managing cap tables, working with Tower HR on employment offer letters, wiring funds, and whatever else it takes to set a founder up for success
- Recruiting:
- Driving the outreach to potential CEO, CTO, and engineers
- Understanding the role and driving the candidate outreach and vetting process
- Working directly with TRV’s director and team to support portfolio companies and lead candidate searches
- Payroll and vendor management:
- Responsible for vendor payment and paying employees
- Owning and handling the execution of these payments
- Liaison between Tower internal teams:
- Responsible for building relationships and acting as the liaison between internal stakeholders, TRV’s director, and TRV’s startups
- Portfolio management and reporting:
- Managing materials and reporting; this includes maintenance of portfolio company shares and cap table management via Carta
Qualifications
- A background in accounting, finance, or fund operations preferred
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- 4-10 years of experience
- CFA is not required but a plus
- Recruiting experience preferred
- Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
- Strong administative skills
