Essential Qualities & Responsibilities

• Drive safe, efficient road freight and crane operations.

• Manage fleet dispatch, equipment allocation, and workshop coordination.

• Ensure compliance, auditing, and reporting across all sites.

• Lead procurement, supplier management, and financial documentation.

• Act as the primary client interface, preparing quotations and proposals.

• Build strong relationships with government authorities, port officials, and suppliers.

• Identify risks, resolve challenges, and secure new business opportunities.

• Mentor and grow the Mozambique team, implementing best practices from other regions.

Requirements:

• 7–10+ years in logistics, transport, or supply chain (Oil & Gas/Mining experience preferred).

• Proven expertise in lifting operations, heavy haulage, and abnormal loads.

• Fluency in Portuguese & English.

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.

• Certification in crane operations (LOLER/LEEA).

• Knowledge of customs clearance, port operations, HSE standards, and transport legislation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/TMS systems.
