Amentum is seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Technical to support a future shipbuilding acquisition program management services contract for US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Team Submarine (TEAM SUB).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees the staff and manages activities of the Technical Operations Department of an organization.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes the design, development, testing, and installation of all technical components of a project, working with the entire technical team and with outsourcing companies or external clients.
- Analyzes reports and supervises the development of each project. Responds quickly to emergencies or questionable matters.
- Provides advice and direction to staff, and assures staff complies with technical guidelines and regulations.
- Recommends ideas for potential improvements, and anticipates future needs.
- Communicates the technical operations with other departments, keeping track of the company's business plan.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Minimum of 10 years experience with Navy Programs
- Must be capable of leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer
Desired Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree
- 10 years experience with DOD acquisition / In-Service Programs
- 5 years experience working with submarine/combat systems
Compensation & Benefits
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100000 - $150000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
