Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on operator to drive and lead meaningful growth to an already profitable business. This person will have responsibility for the people, systems, and growth within Giftd. The role focuses on modernizing operations, adapting to new technologies to increase efficiency in delivery of services, accelerating responsiveness to new opportunities, and leading the team to execute at the highest level. This is an opportunity to significantly influence business performance. Successful candidates will have proven corporate gifting experience and bring existing vendor/partner relationships. They will possess excellent leadership skills and a desire to mentor, coach, support, and challenge a talented team. To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter who is ready to perform on day one. We're looking for leaders that love building relationships. You will collaborate across the organization, encourage growth amongst team members, and be a source for solutions. 
Successful candidates will have the following:

  • 8+ years experience in corporate gifting/promotional products
  • Event industry experience a plus but not required 
  • 5+ years experience managing a multi-faceted team
  • Strong operator mindset with proven experience of turning complexity into clarity 
  • Track record of improving processes, systems, and operational efficiency 
  • Operations experience that has proven to significantly influence business performance
  • Possess existing vendor/partner network within the gifting ecosystem 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills/active listening skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; must function well under pressure, delegate effectively, and remain positive and constructive under stress
  • Experience balancing strategic direction to guide and enable teams to deliver high-quality execution.  
What you would be doing at Giftd:
  • Identify and execute opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization 
  • Bring a strong point of view to collaboratively define the Giftd vision for the future of the business 
  • Evaluate current workflows and rebuild systems for speed, scalability, and efficiency 
  • Implement tools and technology to improve business operations
  • Create repeatable processes that allow the team to move faster with less friction
  • Increase the team’s ability to respond quickly to client needs and new opportunities 
  • Manage resources, budgets, and processes to optimize performance and project outcomes
  • Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and product offerings
  • Stay ahead of industry trends while integrating new tools, techniques, and ideas into the team’s approach
  • Leverage industry knowledge to elevate Giftd’s positioning in the market 
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small but mighty team 
  • Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
