Operations Intern

The Operations Intern works with Operations management to complete projects and/or provide support in areas of customer service, logistics, and internal communication.

Location: 10024 Investment Drive, Suite 200 Knoxville, TN 37932

Hourly Pay: $16

Responsibilities:

• Assist operations management with special projects.
• Provide customer support.
• Update databases and schedule orders.
• Order entry, audit, updates, and tracking.
• Assist Central Customer Service team.

Skills Required:

• Excellent interpersonal communication
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook/Word/Excel
• Mid-level technical skills needed to manage databases and update internal software

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

• High school education or GED required
• Current enrollment in a college/university/technical school degree program required.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

• Temporary, part-time. Approximately 10-20 hours per week
• Normal work schedule is dependent on intern’s availability and Highway Transport business hours.
