To support our rapidly growing ecosystem, we are seeking an Operations Experience Manager who is passionate about building world-class support operations, driving efficiency, and delivering exceptional experiences to our community of merchants.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing Taager’s logistics and fulfillment operations across Iraq and Kuwait. The role focuses on driving operational performance, managing logistics partners, optimizing costs, and ensuring a seamless experience for merchants and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Own logistics and fulfillment operations across Iraq and Kuwait.
- Monitor and improve key operational KPIs, including Delivery Rate (DR%), Return Rate (RTO), fulfillment SLAs, dispatch performance, and customer experience metrics.
- Lead operational reviews and performance governance with logistics partners.
3PL Management & Commercial Partnerships
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), fulfillment centers, and warehousing partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, SLAs, compensation models, and operational agreements.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and launch new logistics partners to improve service levels and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, service agreements, and performance frameworks.
Cost Optimization & Financial Control
- Analyze logistics cost structures and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Own key logistics cost drivers, including delivery costs, return costs, warehousing costs, and partner commercial terms.
- Oversee COD reconciliation processes, payment cycles, and partner receivables.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining operational performance.
Operations Excellence
- Design and implement scalable operational processes.
- Lead root-cause analysis for performance gaps and drive corrective action plans.
- Build operational reporting frameworks and performance visibility tools.
- Establish governance mechanisms to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Account Managment, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Product, Tech, and Customer Experience teams.
- Act as the primary escalation point for logistics and operational challenges.
- Align stakeholders around operational priorities, launches, and improvement initiatives.
What Will Make You Successful
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Operations.
- Strong experience managing third-party logistics providers and fulfillment operations.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations and vendor management.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, logistics, or high-growth startups is strongly preferred.
