Job Title: Regional Operations Lead

The Role
We are seeking a Regional Operations Lead (Director level) to oversee the operational performance of our UK business. Reporting to the COO, you will ensure the region operates efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with firm-wide standards, enabling consulting teams to focus on client delivery and growth.
Acting as the operational counterpart to regional leadership, you will translate strategic objectives into executable operational plans, embedding strong governance, commercial discipline, and resource optimisation across the business .
Crucial to this role is prior experience in a consulting business.
What You’ll Do
Own and optimise the regional operating model, ensuring alignment with firm-wide standards and driving continuous improvement
Partner with Finance to oversee regional P&L performance, revenue forecasting, margin tracking, utilisation, and cost control
Lead workforce planning, capacity modelling, and deployment strategy to maintain high delivery quality and balanced utilisation
Ensure strong governance, commercial approvals, and risk management in line with regulatory and contractual requirements
Develop robust performance dashboards and provide data-driven insights to Regional Leadership and Global Operations
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrable experience in operations, commercial, or business management within professional services or management consultancy
Demonstrable ownership of P&L or operational performance within a multi-million revenue business unit
Strong financial and commercial acumen with advanced analytical capability
Experience implementing operational frameworks, governance models, and structured performance management
Proven ability to collaborate and influence senior stakeholders within a matrixed environment
Bonus Points For
Experience supporting strategic business planning cycles at regional or global level
Exposure to consultancy economics including pricing integrity, margin optimisation, and revenue leakage management
Background in organisational design and process optimisation
Experience developing operational teams and building capability within a region
Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
