About the role
As a data analyst in the Operations Team of Bank Jago, you will be a critical part of the growth of the company’s operational excellence. This role will be responsible for providing data related to Operations, by creating dashboards and reports from various data sources. The role would require you to work closely with the Operations team, data engineers and data scientists in order to ensure the validity of the data, transforming the data to insights, and operationalizing it.
What You Will Do:
- Operate various tools in data management: Utilize software and tools to manage and process data, enabling the creation of various types of reports as needed.
- Understand various requirements for regulatory reports: Comprehend the requirements for regulatory reports and their relationship to data sources from various systems to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Analyze data to create reports and dashboards according to the required requirements and granularity level.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends.
- Ensure data quality and integrity: Implement procedures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of data across all reporting and analysis activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights and solutions.
- Automate repetitive tasks: Develop and implement automated processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort in data management and reporting.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
- Have data analysis experience in the financial services industry for at least 5 years using the latest data analysis methods.
- Strong proficiency in SQL or Big Query: Expertise in SQL or Big Query, along with experience working with relational databases. Understanding of Git, DBT, and Airflow is a plus.
- Understanding of data analysis techniques and data modeling concepts.
- Comprehensive view in data presentation in order to produce reports with various granularity levels
- Attention to detail, structured way of thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Continuous learning mindset
- Experience with data warehousing : knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience working with data warehouses like BigQuery.
- Experience with data visualization tools : proficiency in using data visualization to create insightful and interactive dashboards.
