What You’ll Do 
As an Operations Coordinator, you will work within the Office of Prevention Services The position serves in an assigned county, representing Tallahassee. The position reviews and complete the Department of Juvenile Justice’s Central Communications within the Office of Prevention Services, responsible for reviewing CCC incidents assigned to Prevention and update from contract providers, determine if an administrative program review is required. Assists, when necessary, in carrying out duties and responsibilities of other Prevention Services This position requires a flexible work schedule due to some weekends and after hours (evening) work 

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Reviews and complete the Department of Juvenile Justice's Central Communications Center incidents within the Office of Prevention Services, responsible for reviewing all CCC incidents assigned to Prevention and update from contract providers, determine if an administrative program review is required. 

 

  • Reviews provider deficiencies in PMM (Program Monitoring and Management) and makes recommendations based on policies and procedures. Assists in resolving deficiencies placed in PMM (Program Monitoring and Management). 

 

  • Communicates effectively with providers external to the Program, maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship with the Office of Inspector General. 

 

  • Provides technical assistance as the Office of Prevention Services liaison between the Department and providers. 

 

  • Provides technical assistance, training, consultative services and direction for development, implementation, evaluation and expansion of programs of service in public agencies and local governments. 

 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • A combination of education and experience may substitute for the required experience.   

  • Requires a valid driver’s license.
