WHAT THE JOB IS ALL ABOUT » As an Operations Coordinator, you will be working at the NFL Remote Center in Manhattan, playing a key part in the delivery of our services over a game week. The role will encompass the management of our replay technology, supporting NFL Officials and Hawk-Eye staff on-site at stadiums. Your main focus will be to manage the delivery of our software, jumping into action whenever a problem might arise. You will need to be prepared to work long days throughout the weekend and public holidays as we work whenever Football happens.
You will gain exposure to various other services as you grow in the role and become a more experienced member of the team. We will equip you with the technical training, support and full exposure to our systems to perform your day to day tasks but also encourage development and progression to help make an impact on what we do.
Key Responsibilities:
● Pre-game planning and setting up Hawk-Eye technology ready for game day (testing and configuration of software and network)
● Conducting pre-game checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures
● Liaising, game officials, host broadcasters and other Hawk-Eye teams on location
● Monitoring the systems during the game
● Monitoring hardware and software performances, being able to troubleshoot and report encountered issues
● Taking full responsibility for our systems and representing our company to the highest standards
● Working with broadcasters (CBS, FOX, ESPN, NBC, PRIME) to ensure Hawk-Eye delivers all field facing cameras each game to NFL officiating. ● Supporting Game Day Operations remotely for the UFL in the NFL off-season.
● Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
● Bringing new ideas and innovations to the project as you learn and grow within the company.
● Assisting other projects within HEINA as needed.
● Continuing to learn as the project grows and expands to new areas and technologies.
● Testing and integrating new software, includes working with the development team to provide feedback and testing new releases.
Skills:
● A fundamental understanding of Hawk-Eye technology in the relevant field (SMART / Tracking)
● A strong technical grounding in networking, video/ audio signal flows and other relevant technical fields
● Ideally with a degree in a science, technology, mathematics or engineering course or relevant equivalent experience
● Bright and enterprising with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative
● Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, live broadcast environment
● Ability to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner
● Flexible and adaptable to a schedule that is dictated by the fixture list and can change at short notice
● Ability to balance work and personal life as this job requires working on weekends and holidays.
● Bonus experience: Networking, broadcast, live event production
● A passion for sports, knowledge of NFL is a bonus, but not a requirement

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $44,000.00to $57.000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
