Operations Associate

We're seeking an Operations Associate to join our Supply Chain team, supporting procurement, inventory management, and operational excellence initiatives. This role will be critical in maintaining and optimizing our supply chain processes as we continue to scale rapidly.

This is a full time, in-person/hybrid role (Tues, Weds, Thursday in office) based in Tribeca, NYC.

In this role you'll:

• Manage the procurement process including issuing and tracking raw material and trial purchase orders
• Maintain supplier regulatory documentation and certification databases, including Kosher certification
• Monitor and analyze market pricing for key ingredients, maintaining procurement databases with current information
• Support packaging pre-press process in collaboration with the creative team
• Execute month-end inventory reconciliation processes ensuring accuracy
• Support quarterly raw material pricing reviews and reconciliations with co-manufacturers
• Maintain and update internal procurement databases and bills of materials
• Track open contract balances and manage supplier inventory status follow-up
• Assist in supplier sourcing initiatives to support product development and supply chain continuity
• Support finance and accounting teams with invoice reconciliation, sales order generation, and audit documentation requests

• 0-1+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations, ideally within a fast paced or start up environment
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel
• Experience with ERP systems - bonus 
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Understanding of food manufacturing and regulatory requirements preferred

Magic Spoon intends to offer competitive base pay within the stated range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. To further compensate and recognize our employees for their work, our total compensation package includes equity and a robust benefits package. The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000.
