About the Role:

The Operations Associate role at Beaming Health is an opportunity to make a big impact on a growing business. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of our insurance claims and client satisfaction. You will report to Janae Larrimer, our Head of Operations. At a high-level, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers get paid, stay informed, and have the best possible experience. As you build expertise in our business, you’ll contribute directly to operations, product, and go-to-market efforts.

Expectations:

  • Interface directly with insurance companies to check that families are authorized for services, submit primary and secondary claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively between our customers, insurance companies, and Beaming Team members to keep everyone informed.
  • Create and implement processes for efficiently communicating with customers.
  • Continuously look for, suggest, and implement new ways to improve our processes and create a better experience for our customers.

About You:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment (high-growth startup, established healthcare organization, etc.)
  • 3+ years experience working with a high volume of insurance claims, and proven track record of collecting amounts owed.
  • Previous experience working with Medicaid and Medicare claims.
  • Able to independently make decisions that impact clients and the business.
  • Strong work ethic and humility (willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done, nothing is “below you”)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage many tasks and relationships simultaneously
  • Interested in learning what it takes to build a company from the ground up, and willing to put in the work to make it a reality
  • Desire to be surrounded by others who are smart, driven, and curious
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate well, accept and give feedback, and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Passion for working on something that makes a difference in the world

Other Logistics:

Preference given for candidates located near Denver, CO. However, open to remote candidates. We value time together with yearly team on-sites to build relationships among our team.
