Overview:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, professional Operations Assistant to join our team! As an Operations Assistant you’ll play a crucial role supporting the Operations team with many different banking back-office tasks. The Operations Assistant will also routinely work in collaboration with Fiduciary Assistants and others on the Fiduciary Administration team during the course of a normal day. The perfect candidate will be accurate, precise, detail-oriented, proactive, engaged, professional with strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to prioritize and use sound judgement. Key Responsibilities:
- Open accounts on back office system, and maintain assets in client accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct daily reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Generate and process client statements within the expected timeline.
- Assist clients with online access support.
- Support the entire team with a comprehensive understanding of fiduciary accounting systems.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in daily processes to enhance productivity.
- Communicate professionally and considerately with internal and external contacts.
- Participate in projects and ongoing improvements for the Operations department.
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, operations, or a related field.
- Understanding of accounting systems and principles such as income and principal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
