About the Role

We’re looking for an Operations Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will collaborate closely with both internal teams, such as production, demand planning, and customer support, and external partners, including trucking carriers, brokers, and last mile delivery carriers. Your primary goal will be to support the efficient and effective management of our logistics and supply chain operations. You will help ensure a healthy supply chain, manage freight schedules, support internal fulfillment processes, and build strong carrier relationships. This role is critical in overseeing daily load activities, ensuring timely deliveries, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

How you'll spend your time

  • Utilize internal and external software tools to generate documentation, enabling the production teams to produce and pack customer orders. 
  • Manage projects to automate internal processes that are still being carried out manually. 
  • Build and maintain carrier relationships to secure truckloads on a weekly basis. 
  • Manage shipment activities (small parcel, less than truckload, and full truckload), resolving issues to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.
  • Track shipment statuses and report to relevant teams on any potential issues
  • Quickly and proactively resolve problems that may arise while a load is in transit
  • Communicate with and provide support to teams at each of our production facilities
  • Help the customer support team troubleshoot customer issues related to shipping
  • Provide timely information to marketing, backend, and customer support teams to communicate with customers when there are issues in our logistic network that would impact customers
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in supply chain operations. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

About you

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or operations management. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools and Google Suite tool 
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis, are preferred. 
  • You are a highly organized person with attention to detail.
  • You feel comfortable learning new processes, procedures, and operational functions, but know when to ask for support.
  • You can pivot and adapt to change quickly.
  • When faced with multiple priorities, you remain calm and collected.
  • You communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
  • You're interested in startups and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
