Amentum is seeking an Operations Analyst III for an Advisory and Assistance DARPA contract to assist in coordinating and managing large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people by applying analytical methods from mathematics, science and engineering. The ideal candidate will have creativity, foresight and mature judgement in anticipating and solving administrative, financial and program management problems. The ideal candidate will also have strong organizational skills and can work independently and in dynamic, fast -paced team environments. This is a full time – position at on site Government facility in Arlington, VA. Occasional telecommuting is a possibility.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather information and apply techniques involving the construction of mathematical models that attempt to describe the system being studied.
- Compose and edit succinct and compliant solicitations and briefings, utilizing strong knowledge of grammar, sentence structure and standards of written and visual presentation styles.
- Interface with a variety of audiences to include internal and external Government and Military leadership and stakeholders across all services through verbal, written and presented communications. This also includes distilling complex technical and scientific concepts into accessible language for different audiences in written and presentation formats.
- Programmatic duties such as: Organize, facilitate and schedule meetings, generating meeting minutes and providing taskers to track technical and financial milestones.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics
- A Minimum of 10 years' of experience working in an operations research and/or R&D environment in areas such as engineering, scientific research, or program management
- Must have an active US Government TS Clearance with SCI eligibility. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Adobe PDF
