TI-Trust is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Administrative Assistant to support trust, agency, and fiduciary accounts. This position assists the Executive Vice President of Operations in processing account activity, reconciling balances, maintaining accurate records, and partnering with trust officers to deliver timely, high-quality support.
Wage Range: $20.00/hour - $30.00/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process daily trust account activity, including receipts, disbursements, wire transfers, ACH batches and fee activity.
- Settle security trades, manage corporate actions (splits, mergers) and maintain asset records.
- Reconcile cash and asset balances, research exceptions, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Establish new accounts, update beneficiary information, and process account closures within the trust accounting system.
- Ensure compliance with OFAC, BSA, and internal policies and procedures, including reviewing documentation for proper authorization.
- Coordinate with trust officers to provide information, resolve transaction exceptions, ensure accurate processing and responsive support.
- Occasionally work with others regarding banking, brokerage, or insurance related transactions or payments.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Knowledge of transaction processing, reconciliations, and operational controls.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with trust accounting, custody, or portfolio reporting systems preferred
Education:
- High School diploma
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred.
Other Requirements:
- High level of accuracy required in data entry and reconciling large-value transactions.
- Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential client and account information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven, service-oriented environment.
