Join us as an Operational Resilience & Crisis Officer within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 professionals in risk, business continuity management, internal control and compliance, located across our various geographies. The team is dedicated to preserving the company’s value, assets and reputation by identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, raising awareness, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Within this department, the Operational Risk & Business Continuity Management (BCM) team acts as the second line of defence for IT, cybersecurity, human resources, procurement and other transversal departments, while maintaining business continuity maturity across the group. You will be based in or Porto office interacting with stakeholders in all Euronext entities, including Paris, Milan, Oslo, New York, Dublin and Copenhagen.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Supporting the implementation of the Euronext Group Resilience Framework, ensuring alignment with group policies and regulatory requirements (including DORA and ISO 22301).
- Collaborating with BCM Managers across all Euronext entities to maintain a consistent and efficient approach to resilience.
- Participating in financial sector and local authority working groups to align Euronext’s practices with industry standards.
- Conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) campaigns and supporting the update of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
- Designing and facilitating crisis management exercises and simulations at both local and group levels.
- Delivering awareness sessions and training programmes to staff and dedicated functions.
- Supporting the monitoring and improvement of physical safety standards and plans.
- Supporting the maintenance, activation and continuous improvement of the Euronext resilience plan (disaster recovery, crisis plan, BCP).
- Contributing to the management and coordination of crisis responses.
- Supporting the digital operational testing strategy, providing guidance and oversight for IT, cybersecurity and business continuity testing activities in line with DORA requirements.
- Assisting teams in defining test parameters based on critical assets identified through BIA and risk assessments.
- Developing KPIs and conducting maturity assessments to monitor the organisation’s resilience posture.
- Monitoring emerging risks and external threats that may impact business operations or critical services.
- Providing analytical insights from incidents, testing results and maturity assessments to inform management decisions.
Your profile
- Higher education in risk management, crisis management, geopolitics, political sciences, cybersecurity or a related field.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a related role.
- Entry-level knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity concepts and business continuity management frameworks.
- Familiarity with standards and best practices such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Understanding of financial regulation (e.g. MiFID, DORA, NIS 2) is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (daily use); French is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of resilience frameworks and standards.
- Autonomy, proactivity and ability to summarise complex information.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially in cross-functional contexts.
- Proficiency with BCM tools and data analysis (Excel, Power BI or similar).
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and entities.
