Torch Technologies is seeking an Operational Research and Systems Analyst to join our team and support JIATF-401 in Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) operations and intelligence analysis efforts. This role provides operational and technical analysis support related to unmanned threat platforms, intelligence integration, and C-sUAS mission planning in support of U.S. and coalition operations.
As an Operational Research and Systems Analyst, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Conduct all-source intelligence analysis related to threat device TTPs, unmanned systems, and emerging technologies.
Utilize intelligence disciplines including HUMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, IMINT, MASINT, and TECHINT to support operational and intelligence planning efforts.
Analyze C-sUAS threats, vulnerabilities, operational requirements, and capability gaps across multiple warfighting domains.
Support operational planning, ISR collection strategies, mission assessments, and intelligence reporting activities.
Coordinate with Joint Staff personnel, service components, government agencies, and coalition partners to support C-sUAS mission requirements.
Develop analytical reports, threat assessments, operational briefings, and recommendations for senior military and government leadership.
Support operational test events, training exercises, vulnerability assessments, and intelligence-driven mission activities.
Provide technical expertise related to UAS, Counter-UAS systems, ISR operations, and emerging commercial-based technologies.
Travel CONUS and OCONUS, including potential deployments, in support of operational mission requirements as needed.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Studies, Military Science, Engineering, Cyber Operations, International Relations, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted
BS + 4 years of relevant experience OR
AA/AS + 8 years of relevant experience OR
HS/GED + 10 years of specialized relevant experience
Active TS//SCI security clearance required
Military Intelligence MOS background and completion of formal military intelligence training/school required
Experience supporting intelligence operations, ISR activities, C-sUAS operations, or operational analysis environments
Knowledge of UAS and Counter-UAS platforms, operational integration, and TTPs
Experience integrating intelligence disciplines and operational data into analytical products and mission planning
Strong analytical, research, writing, and briefing skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic operational environments
Proficiency with MS Office applications and intelligence-related analytical tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or Combatant Command operations
Knowledge of emerging technologies, ISR collection strategies, and Commercial-Based Technologies (CBT)
Familiarity with C-sUAS detection, mitigation, and electronic warfare capabilities
Experience supporting operational exercises, intelligence-driven training events, or threat assessments
Understanding of adversary UAS capabilities, threat networks, and ISR exploitation methods
Experience briefing senior leaders and providing operational recommendations in high-tempo environments
