The Expansion Program includes various facilities such as ore preparation, overland conveyor, beneficiation, and utilities.

The Technical & Operational Excellence Direction (DTEO) seeks an Operational Readiness & Commissioning Manager to support Project execution and handover, particularly for the Expansion Program.

Reporting:

  • Reports to the Technical & Operational Excellence Director.
  • Interfaces with 7MT Program & 10 MT Project Managers and DTEO Departments Managers.

Commissioning Role:

  • Develop and execute the Commissioning Plan, focusing on Washing Plants and related facilities.
  • Manage all commissioning responsibilities on site, including setup, management, and closure of the Commissioning plan.
  • Manage direct reports and report progress internally and externally.
  • Chair weekly commissioning meetings and daily whiteboard meetings.
  • Develop the Project commissioning schedule and manage safety procedures.
  • Compile all Testing and Commissioning Documentation and organize manpower and labor allocation.
  • Close out all project items with support from package managers.

Operational Readiness Role:

  • Develop and execute an Operational Readiness Management Plan.
  • Develop the Operations Breakdown Structure and provide detailed schedules and estimates.
  • Ensure operational readiness of projects aligned with process improvement frameworks.
  • Facilitate alignment of roles and responsibilities within teams.
  • Define KPIs and ensure alignment with production objectives.
  • Conduct analysis of variances and distribute reports for corrective action.
  • Develop an effective communication plan between stakeholders.
  • Distribute and communicate the detailed Facility Breakdown Structure.
  • Optimize human resources and manage a safe work environment compliant with environmental regulations.

Workload:

  • 90% Expansion Programs and 10% other DTEO Departments.

Main objective:

  • Develop commissioning, handover, and operational readiness management for all facilities covering the Expansion Programs.
