The Operational Projects Manager will lead and contribute to critical projects focused on process improvement, operational automation, regulatory compliance, and internal collaboration. This role requires a blend of project management expertise, operational knowledge, and cross-functional coordination to deliver operational excellence across Clear Junction’s operations.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute operational improvement, automation, standardisation, and compliance projects across various areas within the Operations Department and broader business processes.
  • Oversee and contribute to projects impacting operational platforms, including CRM systems, collaborating closely with IT and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics, drive enhancements in SLA KPIs, and support incident logging, reporting, and operational resilience efforts.
  • Deliver training, induction, and learning programs for Operations team members and other departments on operations-related topics.
  • Develop, review, and update policies, procedures, manuals, and other internal operational documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, ensuring accurate documentation and a robust audit trail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, acting as an internal consultant on operational matters, and supporting the development and launch of new payment products.
  • Ensure that all projects and daily responsibilities are carried out in line with Clear Junction’s policies, risk management framework, data protection regulations, and applicable laws.
  • Conduct a review of external regulatory requirements to develop appropriate internal policies. Ensure these controls are fully implemented across all departments and business operations.

Key Competencies & Experience Required

  • Experience in operations, process improvement, or project management within the financial services or payments sector.
  • Experience drafting comprehensive internal governance policies and procedure manuals.
  • Proven project management abilities with a track record of delivering process improvement and automation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of operational processes, payment systems, and SLA management.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, operational platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable and proactive in identifying and resolving operational challenges.
  • Legal background being an advantage
