Operational Performance Analyst
Department: Gas Operations
Reports to: Director - Compliance & Operational Performance
Location: In Office, Orange CT
The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $87,600 - $109,500
Job Summary
Responsible for leading the process of implementing Operational Performance structure for Engineering and Operations and Design and Delivery functions, across all Avangrid Gas Companies. Overview for Operational Performance responsibility includes creating and reporting performance metrics to the business in order to engage all companies on a continuous process's improvement mind-set.
Key Responsibilities
Develop dashboards and visual reports, seeking alignment within different areas from the companies
Develop and deploy proactive self-assessments of performance indicators
Leads recurrent proactive meetings with Gas Engineering and Operations and Gas Design and Delivery for metrics discussion
Analyses, reports and provides feedback to the business of its performance
Coordinates the updates reporting to all leadership with potential impacts to Gas Business
Engage on discussions with Gas Operations and Engineering and Gas Design & Delivery teams to identify areas of risk exposure/negative trends and/or positive trends
Leads the way for gaining metrics consistency across operating companies
Defines controls, documentation, and assessment of its effectiveness
Leads the development of performance metrics tracking strategy
Provides performance improvements analysis using historical data and forecasts using data analytics
Captures data and leverages continuous improvement to maximize efficiency
Identifies areas for improvement and provides practical inputs to processes owners
Quantifies potential risks and provide recommendations for improvements through analysis of technical, operational, and financial data
Leads the Operational Performance group providing guidance on how to work in partnership with Gas Business to develop new metrics or system.
Required Qualifications

Understanding of Natural Gas Industry
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to summarize concepts presented accordingly
Results oriented
Data analytics and related tools knowledge
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or 5+ years total professional experience
Experience with Performance Operational/Metrics
Experience with reporting and tracking deadlines when working across different departments
Preferred Qualifications
PowerBI and Advanced Excel Skills preferred
