Boeing's Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to join the Projects, Assets, Construction & Engineering (PACE) Operational Excellence team.
The Operational Excellence Manager will lead four growing functions within the Operational Excellence team. The ideal candidate is a strategic, multidisciplinary leader with a proven ability to align analytics, communications, program management, Lean transformation, and technology enablement to support enterprise objectives and continuous improvement.
As a Manager you will be responsible for managing a geographically diverse team, analyzing critical deliverables and identifying and driving process improvements. Position Responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor and motivate teammates to sustain high performance, develop skills and advance careers
- Prepare and inform leadership on strategic analysis of construction project financial performance, forecasting and opportunities and risks, in partnership with the facilities project managers
- Participate in regional, site, or enterprise-wide cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop analytics capabilities to support standardized data-informed decision-making across the COE
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders, peers, the PACE leadership team and direct reports
- Translate strategy into measurable, achievable outcomes in a complex and ambiguous environment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
- 5+ years of experience in interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management
- 5+ years of experience developing and analyzing Financial Forecasts
- Experience in operations, facilities management, maintenance, manufacturing, construction projects and/or project management
- Up to 20% domestic travel
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience as a leader in program management, data management and/or financial management and analysis
- Experience in developing and delivering key PACE initiatives with accurate, timely and clear communication
- Experience developing and iterating continuous process improvements in a team environment
