Our client, a leading financial services and insurance group, requires a Test Analyst to plan, design and execute testing across finance and actuarial systems. Reporting into the Head: Centre IT via the Test Manager, you will own test coverage from functional and integration testing through to System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, providing the quality assurance that underpins confident go-live decisions.
Key focus areas: risk-based test planning, test design with full requirements traceability, validation of financial calculations and reporting output, automation of regression suites, defect management, and UAT coordination with business users.

Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- 3+ years of experience testing finance systems in insurance or financial services
- Experience designing and executing tests for ERP finance implementations and system integrations
- Hands-on data validation using SQL, including source-to-target reconciliation
- API and message-based interface testing using Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or comparable tools
- Test automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, Cypress, or comparable frameworks
- Test management and defect tracking using Jira with Xray or Zephyr, Azure DevOps, or Micro Focus ALM
- Experience leading or supporting UAT and SIT with business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
